I became passionate about single malt Scotch whisky in the mid-90s, but just started really getting into the finer points of tasting, and appreciating unusual whiskies and IBs from different regions within the past 10 years or so. While I do not consider myself a collector, I have a large cache of whisky that I open and drink when I'm in the mood for a dram from a particular distillery, or a certain flavor profile. I like to think since you only die once, you should drink when you fancy it.

And as they say in Scotland, "A h-uile la sona dhuibh's gun la idir dona dhuibh!"

(May all your days be happy ones!)
